Vintage Early 20th Century Cast Iron Smoking Stand Ornate Lyre Design

Before I could stop him, my husband sprayed it with antique bronze paint. In his defense, it was quite rusty, and I might have painted it. Although, I do prefer to leave most items in their aged condition.

There is a lyre shaped handle at the top used for carrying it. It has 3 openings for removeable ashtrays. The openings are roughly 3 7/8". There is another piece on the top. I don't know what it is used for (hold a pipe, matches, lighter?). Below the ashtrays it looks like an upward arrow attached to an upside-down lyre and a downward pointing arrow attached to the base of the stand. On the bottom of the stand, I found three stampings. The first is L-150, directly across from that is a 2 and to the left is a very small diamond.

It is 26" tall x 10 1/2" x 9 1/2" and weighs 9 pounds.

Almost every item I sell is used and may have some wear from age. I try my best to accurately describe the item. This piece is both functional and ornamental.
