GWTW Cranberry Hurricane Lamp/Prisms/Hand-painted with White Roses and Leaves

GWTW (Gone with the Wind) appropriately named after the movie with the same title.

A beautifully preserved lamp with some charming details! The white painted roses with a hint of yellow add a lovely touch. I believe these are the original prisms. The clear chimney and prisms add a beautiful touch to the lamp, making it a stunning piece to use or display. The terminal switch controlling both the bottom and top globe is a nice feature, making it versatile for different lighting needs. The bottom glass of the lamp is signed B Hart.

There are no manufacturer marks identifying the lamp. I found some information online with Collector's Weekly. A subscriber posted an inquiry about the manufacturer. A reply identified the lamp as being produced by Accurate Casting of New York. Accurate Casting of New York seems to have played a significant role in the production of lamp bases for various companies, including the renowned Tiffany. It's fascinating rich history and connection to a well-known manufacturer makes this a highly collectible piece. It is estimated the manufacturing date is mid-century between 1940 to the early 1960's.

This is a stunning piece of history that would give beauty and elegance to any room.

No breakage some tiny nicks around the bottom rim of the top globe that rests inside the metal housing that holds the globe.
